Despite it being one of the hottest days in Arizona, he had a smile on his face the entire time, gave us good vibes, and was up for diving into the water and looking good while doing it. How did you first get into modeling?
I moved to Arizona to go to school at The Art Institute of Phoenix, through the school I did a couple of fashion shows and was in love with being in front of the camera and audience. I started getting offers to do photoshoots through my Instagram and started accepting the offers to get comfortable doing shoots. My friend Anna helped me get a casting for BodyAware and I was introduced to the brand.
Is modeling your main gig at the moment, or do you have any other endeavors that you’re going for?
Right now I am in school for Fashion Marketing, studying personal training, and working at Starbucks. I have many passions between fitness, fashion, and modeling and I feel that they all coincide and the three end up building on one another.
Besides BodyAware, What is your dream modeling gig?
To be a model in a Balmain or Calvin Klein ad would be a dream come true.
What interests you most about modeling?
What i like most about modeling is not only getting to wear new styles and garments but to show my emotion and connection to fashion and fitness all in one picture.
What and/or who inspires you most as a model?
Nyle DiMarco is a great inspiration to me. He, like my little sister is deaf, and he takes stunning photos. He doesn't let it be a factor that gets in his way, so I feel nothing should stop me either.
Do you think there is a stigma against men wearing "skimpy" underwear? If so, why do you think the stigma is there?
I think many think it takes the masculinity that some seek to be and or some don't pay attention to. I think the stigma is there because many people aren't as open minded, and look at it as a masculine trait by defying gender norms.
How do you prepare for a photo shoot?
Before a shoot I love to play my favorite songs while I do my makeup so when I'm camera ready I'm in the best of moods.
Do you manscape?
Yes, I trim my facial and body hair and love to have a smooth bum.
How many times a week do you workout and what’s your favorite routine?
I workout 5 times a week and love leg day. I love deep squats and the stair master, they both have helped me go from a flat butt to a perky one.
What is your favorite style of underwear?
I love cheeky briefs, they're the perfect type of underwear to tease.
What do you like about BodyAware?
I love the many styles they offer creating a wide assortment for men to express themselves.
What’s your favorite pair of BodyAware underwear?
The Industrial Cheeky Brief, I love the style with the lightly glittered mesh and the cheeky bottoms.
What is your idea of a perfect date?
Everyone loves a glass of wine and a nice dinner, but a gym sesh and a burger joint would make me just as happy.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, who would you be stranded with and with what three items?
I would be stranded with my best friend Lydia and we would probably have a lighter, a knife, and a bottle of wine.
Moment where you felt the most proud?
When I was 18 and I first moved to Arizona, I was so proud of myself for graduating High School early and starting college early to get credits before I knew what I wanted to do. I moved here and after a year I'm already halfway finished with my Bachelor's Degree. It shows me my hard work pays off and if I put the dedication to my passions now, the future will bring me success.
